the kids are ages 5 to 7. The girls mother thought it would be cute for all of us to get into character, including the adults. Any help would be appreciated!

My friends mom asked me to help plan her birthday party. The only problem is that my friends birthday is in February and there isn’t really a lot to do where we live.

You should throw a themed party, if your friend is young enough. If too old, than play some party games(like musical chairs) and make sure you have plenty of party food. If the party seems to get boring, get peppy and make some excitement. make sure that the music is always on and people are mingling and having fun. If you have money, try and supply prizes for the people to win from games.
That should be a pretty fun party, i guess.

O.M.G i love Harry Potter also happy birthday! You could do all sorts of things! You could even make it a costume contest or a duel. For the decorations hang up hogwarts signs and GryffindorHuffelpuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. If there is a whole bunch of peepz comin you could let them choose their houses. O.MG i wish I wouldve thought of a Harry Potter theme!

an example is:
“in the pirates’ day, they used messages in a bottle, but today we send messages in a different way.”

this would lead the kids to the mailbox. this level of difficulty is appropriate. thanks for all of your help!!!

Well what you could do for a treasure hunt is make up pirate maps of the house or the backgarden. Then you could give the maps to a pair and they can go off and find watever your putting in the garden.

ok, my creative skills are almost non existent. I am having a birthday party for my son who will be one in March. It’s only for family and a few close friends. Can you give me some ideas on how to decorate my house? Part of the celebration is a volleyball game on our lawn. We live in the country and have a lot of room outside to do lots of outdoor stuff. Question by peanut: I’m planning a 40th birthday party and need creative ideas for the location.?
I want something besides just a dinner at a restaurant. Food and alcohol need to be provided. I’m considering everything from a bowling party to a winery dinner. Any suggestions other than a house party are appreciated! Attendance will be 30-40 people.
The birthday is in November in the SF bay area, so outdoor locations are not an option.

okay so im turning 13. and its gonna be a co-ed party and a LOT of people are coming i have NO idea what i could do to make this party fun. i need a place to take my friends or something to do at my own house, it has to be fun for both boys and girls though and idk what i should do!!

lol so am i. i dono but u can go to the beach and have a barbeque. at the place where im going they have a pool, volleyball, and a teniss court. its a nice place to chill with friends. you guys can come up with a bunch of ideas of waht to do. you can play original games(pin the bottle truth or dare ect.) thats what im doing this year for my 13th bday. it worked out last year, it was super stellar.

Right now we have a scavenger hunt, treasure hunt planned.

We have some pirate stuff, the treasure hunt (with cool maps we made) will involve finding a huge buried chest in the sand which has the party favors.

Any other ideas!??

damn dude what’s a pirate party without sword fights. get some of those rubber swords and stage a cool fight.

another good one would be to make people walk the plank (into a swimmin pool would be best).
