BIRTHDAY PARTY PLANNING- Survivor Party!!!

Question by Claudia: BIRTHDAY PARTY PLANNING- Survivor Party!!!
I’m having my 13th birthday party and we’ve decided (my twin and I) that we would love to have a survivor party. We will be inviting boys and girls, and there will be 4 tribes, with 5 people in each. We have figured out everything except all of the challenges. We need around 10 challenges, and then we will just go swimming. I’ve got 9 challenges, but i really need 10!! Can anyone help me PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE by thinking of some challenges- i’ve already thought of 3 with food, so any challenges other then food is great.

Help with specific treasure hunt clues for child’s pirate party?

Question by Shortie0105: Help with specific treasure hunt clues for child’s pirate party?
I am having a child party (ages vary 6-10). It is a pirate party and we are having a treasure hunt. I want to be able to hide one clue that leads to the next clue etc… and takes them around the park. I have found places to hide clues but I can’t come up with many riddles or ways to have them guess what the hidden places are. The places are a tree, under the slide, under a table, by a pirate flag, under a rock, next to the cooler. Can you please help me come up with good clues for these hidden places?

Can you help me with planning my mother’s surprise birthday party?

Birthday Party Planning
by veo_

Question by Peachy Keen, Jelly Bean: Can you help me with planning my mother’s surprise birthday party?
My mother’s 49th birthday is tomorrow and my grandmother (mom’s mom) suggested we throw her a surprise party Saturday to celebrate since she’s never had a real birthday party before. We’ve taken her out to eat and things like that for her birthday, but she’s never had the cake and the streamers and the whole nine.
Here’s the deal: my mother and my cousin (her niece) will be going to Texas tonight to see one of my cousins (again, her niece) graduate tomorrow. They’ll be getting back in to Georgia Saturday night. My grandmother suggested we throw the party at my cousin’s house (the one going with my mother to Texas, of course) Saturday night, surprising my unsuspecting mother when they get back.
I think it’s a great plan, but I’ve never thrown a simple party before, much less a surprise party!
Her favorite colors are yellow and purple so I was thinking about getting the streamers and the cake in those colors and serving margaritas as that’s her favorite drink.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, you haven’t left much time for planning here. Your ideas sound very nice. How about a few balloons, too, in her favorite colors and at least 1 Happy Birthday balloon.

See if you can get some of her close friends to come, too. Since her favorite drink is margaritas, how about a few mexican finger foods…….a big platter of nachos, chips ‘n salsa, mini tacos or taquitos, guacamole…….along those lines.
I hope she will be pleasantly surprised. Have a great party!

Can you help me with the wording for my son’s first birthday party invitation?

Question by Linds: Can you help me with the wording for my son’s first birthday party invitation?
The birthday party doesn’t really have a “theme,” but there is a sailboat on the invitation. I will be decorating with baby blue and white balloons/streamers/etc. Any ideas that aren’t too cheesy? Thanks for your help!

Best answer:

Answer by Meagan
Just something simple like “You are cordially invited to Baby Linds first birthday party. We will be celebrating on (date) at (time) at (location).”

I need help planning a birthday party ?

Question by enm92taff: I need help planning a birthday party ?
My friends mom asked me to help plan her birthday party. The only problem is that my friends birthday is in February and there isn’t really a lot to do where we live.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what we could possibly do please let me know. I appreciate any suggestions!! Thank you

Answer by Max D.
You should throw a themed party, if your friend is young enough. If too old, than play some party games(like musical chairs) and make sure you have plenty of party food. If the party seems to get boring, get peppy and make some excitement. make sure that the music is always on and people are mingling and having fun. If you have money, try and supply prizes for the people to win from games.
That should be a pretty fun party, i guess.

I am going to theme it harry potter and i was wondering if anyone knew of any ideas i could use. I need all the help i can get thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by Vampire Wishes
O.M.G i love Harry Potter also happy birthday! You could do all sorts of things! You could even make it a costume contest or a duel. For the decorations hang up hogwarts signs and GryffindorHuffelpuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. If there is a whole bunch of peepz comin you could let them choose their houses. O.MG i wish I wouldve thought of a Harry Potter theme!

Good Luck!!!!
Happy Birthday!!!
