What are some good crafts for her and her friends to do to keep them entertained? She really wants to make a craft but not a scrapbook or anything doing with paper. She wants it to be really creative and she’s not into princesses.
My daughter is a bit of a tomboy..she doesn’t like jewlery..she’s really into soccer.

get some old jeans and crop them pulling out the threads, wear long stripy socks, a cute lil vest top… add lots of necklaces and bracelets… curl the ends of your hair, wear a bandanna or leave it lose with big hooped earrings and add lots of eyeliner… you’ll be rocking!

I am about to throw my 16th birthday party at a restaurant, but the thing is, the room isn’t decorated at all. It’s very nice, but the walls are blank. So, I would really enjoy some advice, about what to put on those walls, or what else to do with/in the room, to make the party more interesting and more fun… I am bringing my PC for the music, some large speakers, and I’m setting it to Party Mode. There will be some remixes, visualizations that go with the music on the monitor, but that’s about it so far….So, please, anyone that’s got any ideas, I’m dying to hear them!!

50-year-old men usually don’t want fussy decor and centerpieces at their birthday parties. They want good people, decent food, great music and/or activities, in a decent atmosphere. That’s it. In fact, major party decorations may be a turn-off.

I am planning cousin’s birthday party. Will be mostly family, children will be present. She does want alcohol.

1) need fun ideas for things to do
2) 3 drinks
3) forget dancing. while music is ok, most of the family refuses to get up and dance.
4) can’t be too wild, parents and children there.

I have no problems coming up with menus, just ideas on how to spend the time. We already have several birthdays parties coming up (a skate party, bowling party, a kid’s inflatables party). It will be at the end of October. A party at a local park has already been vetoed.
There will be around 18 adults and 6 kids.
We are not limiting the drinks to 3 each. I need ideas for 3 different drinks (to limit spending). Since I don’t drink, I don’t know anything about what drinks are good and what goes in them.

I have done murder mystery parties. They sold the kits at party stores or you might look on Amazon. We did a western themed one that was very fun. I think Dry Gulch Dan was the victim. We stuffed old jeans and a shirt and placed him on the front porch with cowboy hat and boots and lots of ketchup on his chest. The kit had written scripts for parts to be played by six “suspects” and a cassette to play at strategic points. The suspects did not know who did the dastardly deed until it was revealed on the tape. Everyone who attended was asked to dress up in a western outfit. One of the couples really got into it and rented old timey costumes. Everyone guessed who did it and why. We had prizes for best dressed and for who got the right answer.

Food suggestions were stew or chilli with cornbread or biscuits served on tin plates. Use bandanas for napkins. It was really fun.

The script’s were very witty and funny. There’s a Mexican, 50′s, and Hawaian themed kit. We did the Hawaian one and served Mai Tai’s. Boy were they good. We didn’t finish the game because the suspects had too many Mai Tais and started slurring the words.
